After decades of desperately seeking help from a wide variety of counsellors for mental health and marriage issues I found lasting healing from Biblical Counselling. Naturally I wanted the same help for the marginalized people I had been (and continue to) volunteering with suffering with anxiety, depression and addictions.
In 2020, I received certification from the Associations of Biblical Counseling and a post graduate certification in Biblical Care and Counselling from Heritage Seminary. I have also taken some classes at a local college on intervention methods and gained a broader understanding of local resources. I continue to be an active, supervised member of the soul care team at my Oakville church, as well as volunteer with Prison Fellowship’s Bridge Care program, Safe Families and Church-at-the-Table in downtown Hamilton.
I am most experienced with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Addictions are of a special interest.
